The producers of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award winning musical Jersey Boys announced that John Rochette will play the role of Tommy DeVito beginning tonight, Monday, November 18, at New York City's New World Stages (340 West 50th Street) Stage 1. John has previously appeared in the Jersey Boys ensemble on Broadway, on tour and at New World Stages.

It's just too good to be true! Today marks fourteen years since Jersey first came to the Great White Way with Jersey Boys! To celebrate the anniversary of The Four Seasons walking like a man, we're looking back at the show's journey, from its first Broadway rehearsals all the way through its final performance at the August Wilson Theatre. Jersey Boys just participated in the program, when a red piano (equipped with Jersey Boys-era microphones and quotes from the show) was delivered to its final home at Port Richmond High School on Staten Island. Sing for Hope director Lester Vrtiak led a Citizen Artist Assembly, explaining to the students the story of this piano and explaining how they can be citizen artists in their community. Four cast members were on hand for the event, where they performed a few songs at the new piano and signed autographs for the students (who came to see the show earlier in the month). Keith Hines and CJ Pawlikowski join the cast of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award winning musical Jersey Boys, tonight, Monday, August 19, at New York City's New World Stages (340 West 50th Street) Stage 1.

JERSEY BOYS follows the true story of 1960s group The Four Seasons; Tommy DeVito (Corey Greenan), Bob Gaudio (Eric Chambliss), Nick Massie (Johnathan Cable), and Frankie Valli (Jonny Wexler). This jukebox musical, with music by Bob Gaudio and lyrics by Bob Crewe, utilizes some of the bands biggest hits to tell the rise and fall of the iconic group of boys from New Jersey; including "Big Girls Don't Cry," "Sherry," "December 1963 (Oh, What a Night)," and "Can't Take My Eyes Off You."

Oh what a night May 20 will be! Olivia Valli, the granddaughter of Four Seasons frontman and leading character in Jersey Boys Frankie Valli, is set to join the company of Jersey Boys on May 20. Valli, in what is considered a first in stage history, will portray Frankie Valli's first wife and her own grandmother, Mary Mandel.

JERSEY BOYS has been a Broadway favorite since the jukebox musical premiered in 2005. It can still be seen Off-Broadway at New World Stages, but in case you're not traveling to Manhattan any time soon, you can catch the show as it travels across America to a city near you. The story of the Four Seasons wouldn't be complete without the character of the incomparable Frankie Valli, whose perfect falsettos gave the group its iconic sound. I caught up with Jonny Wexler in Atlanta, who's been playing Frankie on tour for his second season. He's been with the production for 5 years total, having played Joe Pesci for 3 seasons. Sam Wolf joins the cast of the Tony, Grammy and Olivier Award winning musical Jersey Boys, tonight, Monday, June 25, at New York City's New World Stages (340 West 50th Street) Stage 1.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. This Thursday night, February 22nd, Broadway Sessions welcomes cast members from the new Off Broadway production of Jersey Boys and more.

Oh what a night! The off-Broadway engagement of JERSEY BOYS has announced a new spring schedule which will include three Thursday matinee performances.

Fresh off of the 12th longest run in Broadway history, Jersey Boys returns to Sacramento after a four year absence.  Jersey Boys is the Tony, Grammy, and Olivier Award winning biographical account of the rise and fall of the musical powerhouse, The Four Seasons.  Baby boomers arrived en masse to the Community Center Theatre to be entertained by music from their youth and were not disappointed with the dynamic performance of this touring cast.
