Broadway superstar and internationally recognized vocal talent Idina Menzel appeared on long-running NBC morning show TODAY last week to perform two songs from her brand new Broadway musical IF/THEN as well as address the multiple pop culture moments she has experienced in the last few months - many FROZEN-related - as part of an interview, as well, and a new behind the scenes video is now available to view.

If/Then opened last week at the Richard Rodgers Theatre on Broadway, with Tony winner Idina Menzel leading the cast, which also features Anthony Rapp, LaChanze, James Snyder, Jerry Dixon,Jenn Colella, Jason Tam, Tamika Lawrence, and Jackie Burns. If/Then is a contemporary new musical that follows two distinct storylines in the life of Elizabeth, a city planner who moves back to New York to restart her life in this city of infinite possibilities. When her carefully designed plans collide with the whims of fate, Elizabeth's life splits into two parallel paths. If/Thenfollows both stories simultaneously as this modern woman faces the intersection of choice and chance.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, MASTERWORKS BROADWAY will release the Original Broadway Cast Recording of If/Then. Produced by Steve Epstein, Tom Kitt and David Stone, the album was recorded yesterday, April 7 in anticipation of a June 3, 2014 release. Broadway superstar and internationally recognized vocal artist Idina Menzel is currently starring in her Broadway return via brand new Broadway musical IF/THEN and the talented triple-threat has taken to Twitter to share a behind the scenes glimpse at the cast recording for the show.

The cast and creative team of IF/THEN was at MSR Recording Studios in New York City today to work on the show's Original Broadway Cast Recording, which will be released by Masterworks Broadway on June 3, 2014.
