The New York Pops performs the timeless music of Rodgers and Hammerstein on Friday, January 24, 2020 at 8:00 p.m. in Find Your Dream: The Songs of Rodgers and Hammerstein joined by guest artists Laura Michelle Kelly and Max von Essen, as well as Judith Clurman's Essential Voices USA. TheatreWorks Silicon Valley announces a special post-show political forum for its production of the Tony and Olivier Award-nominated drama Frost/Nixon. Following the 2pm performance of Frost/Nixon on Saturday, February 2 at the Mountain View Center for the Performing Arts, audiences are invited to discuss the history and current relevance of the Watergate scandal with Dr. Theodore Glasser of Stanford University and Dr. Terri Bimes of University of California Berkeley in a conversation moderated by Cameron Wells, the assistant director of Frost/Nixon. Glasser, a professor emeritus of Communication whose research specializes in media practices and press accountability, and Bimes, a lecturer and Assistant Director of Research for the Institute of Governmental Studies who teaches about the presidency, will bring their unique perspectives to this free political forum, open to audience members and community members.

Laura Michelle Kelly, the Olivier Award winning musical theatre actress who won critical acclaim for her lead role in Disney's triumphant London stage production of Mary Poppins, returns to the UK in 2019 to perform at London's Cadogan Hall. Jenny Topper and Theatre Royal Bath Productions today announce full casting for the world premiere of The Nightingales which will see Steven Pacey, Stefan Adegbola, Sarah Earnshaw, Philip McGinley and Mary Stockley join previously announced BAFTA Award-winning television star and writer Ruth Jones in her highly anticipated return to the stage. The production, directed by RSC Associate Artist Christopher Luscombe and written by William Gaminara, will run at Theatre Royal Bath from Wednesday 31 October to Saturday 10 November, with opening night for press on Wednesday 7 November. The Nightingales will then tour to Cambridge, Cardiff, Chichester and Malvern prior to a West End transfer, with venue and dates to be announced.
