Peter Andre Returns To UK Tour Of GREASE

Following his success starring in the UK and Ireland tour in 2019, Peter Andre will star in the 2020 UK tour of the first new production in 25 years of Jim Jacobs & Warren Casey's iconic musical GREASE, at certain venues. As well as reprising the role of Teen Angel, Andre will also play Vince Fontaine and the Sergeant, joining the previously announced Dan Partridge as Danny Zuko. Further casting to be announced including who will be playing the role of Teen Angel, Vince Fontaine and the Sergeant when Peter Andre is not performing.

North Carolina Theatre Announces Casting of KINKY BOOTS

North Carolina Theatre, the region's premier nonprofit professional theatre, has announced casting for its February production of Kinky Boots, playing February 11-16, 2020 at the Duke Energy Center for the Performing Arts in downtown Raleigh. Eric Woodall is NC Theatre's producing artistic director, and Broadway performer Nathan Peck will direct and choreograph the production.

Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater announces the company for A Thousand Splendid Suns, adapted for the stage by Ursula Rani Sarma and based on the 2007 New York Times bestselling novel by Khaled Hosseini (Kite Runner). Set in 1992 in war-torn Afghanistan, this gripping story centers around a friendship that develops between two Afghan women following a tragedy. While facing insurmountable odds of a brutal and oppressive way of life, the two form an unlikely bond in a heart-rending fight for survival. Directed by Carey Perloff, A Thousand Splendid Suns runs January 17 - March 1, 2020 in the Kreeger Theater.

The Annenberg Center presents Belgium-based early music ensemble Vox Luminis, Friday, November 1, at 7:30 PM, at St. Mary's Church, Hamilton Village at 3916 Locust Walk on the University of Pennsylvania campus. One of the foremost vocal ensembles specializing in performances of Renaissance and Baroque music, and led by Artistic Director Lionel Meunier, the award-winning Vox Luminis makes its Annenberg Center debut in a celebration of the Italian Baroque, featuring works by Claudio Monteverdi and Domenico Scarlatti, including the latter's Stabat Mater, the signature work that inspired the group's founding.
