Clubbed Thumb has announced the complete line-up for the 25th annual SUMMERWORKS, its festival of new plays. SUMMERWORKS will run May 15 - July 1, 2020 at The Wild Project (195 E. 3rd Street) in Manhattan and will feature productions of three new plays: SPINDLE SHUTTLE NEEDLE by Gab Reisman and directed by Tamilla Woodard; BODIES THEY RITUAL by Angela Hanks and directed by Knud Adams; and THE WOMAN'S PARTY by Rinne Groff and directed by Tara Ahmadinijad.

A legend of 20th century music and an international icon of India, sitar virtuoso and singular composer Ravi Shankar (1920 - 2012) will be commemorated with a series of Ravi Shankar Centennial Concerts in May 2020 to celebrate 100 years since his birth on April 7, 1920. Ravi Shankar Centennial Concerts feature family members Norah Jones and Anoushka Shankar as well as special guest artists Philip Glass, Dhani Harrison (son of George Harrison), Nitin Sawhney, and an orchestra of Shankar's foremost disciples performing on venerable stages across the globe (*please see the concert listings below for which guest artists will appear at each show*).

A continuation of 2019's Supernatural Now tour for Santana, the Miraculous Supernatural 2020 Tour will mark the first time that these two powerhouses will share the stage in the U.S. The Live Nation-produced outing kicks off June 19th in San Diego and will make stops in Los Angeles, Dallas, New York, Chicago, Toronto, and more before wrapping August 29th in Tampa.

The film version is also airing nationwide on PBS during their December Pledge Drives.  The set was previously released in only the CD format to coincide with the cinematic release of the concert film which played, for one night only, on November 11, 2019 - Veteran's Day.
