Tale of Vietnam Vet LONE STAR Extends Run at The Triad

 In April of 2017 at Wild Project in the East Village, a revival of James McLure's Lone Star, by NINE Theatricals, took the stage in New York City for only the second time since it's Broadway debut in 1979. The production was met with tremendous feedback and glowing reviews from New York City critics and audiences who had not before seen this lesser known work. With a demand for more shows, producers moved Lone Star, in May, to The Triad Theatre for a limited Off Broadway contract run. (more...)

Ticketmaster has issued a warning in regards to those wishing to purchase tickets to Bruce Springsteen's upcoming concert run at Broadway's Walter Kerr theatre. The ticketing website urges perspective audiences to avoid unverified resale and claims tickets have not yet gone on sale for the event and anyone claiming to have tickets is selling 'speculative tickets'. Inaugural INGENIO Play Fest Milagro Begins 9/8

Milagro is excited to announce the inaugural INGENIO Play Fest. INGENIO is a new play and playwright development program for Latina/o playwrights. Four plays were selected after a national request for submissions and will be presented in a concert readings over three days, September 8-10, 2017, following a week of rehearsals. During the rehearsal process, playwrights will work with guest artist Daniel Jaquez, directors, and dramaturgs in the continued development of the scripts, preparing them for a full production. Each reading will be followed by a moderated feedback session, led by guest artist Daniel Jaquez and other guests. INGENIO Play Fest is supported by the National New Play Network's Collaboration Fund. (more...)
