UK/Irish trio New Rules have announced a U.S. headline tour. The run kicks off November 30 in Philadelphia, PA and hits New York City’s famed Bowery Ballroom on December 1 before concluding in Atlanta, GA on December 7. “Saturday Night Live” star Cecily Strong will perform in Jane Wagner's one-woman show “The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe” at Center Theatre Group / Mark Taper Forum this fall.

Gearing up for the holiday season, Jimmy Fallon, Willie Nelson, Billy Ray Cyrus, Jimmie Allen, Zach Williams and Miley Cyrus have been cast as guest stars in NBC’s “Dolly Parton’s Mountain Magic Christmas.” In addition to the legendary Dolly Parton in the lead role, the film will star Tom Everett Scott, Ana Gasteyer and Angel Parker.

Weston Theater Company presents the American tribal love-rock musical: HAIR, playing July 20 – August 13 at the Weston Playhouse. 

Atlanta-based pop/rock band, glimmers, are theading on tour this August on the Touring Not To Be Boring tour, supporting Rarity and Telltale. Glimmers will be hopping on for 5 dates of the tour, starting on Tuesday, August 16th in Atlanta at Purgatory and will wrap on Sunday, August 21st in Norfolk at Riffhouse. 

IndieWorks Theatre Company and Judith Manocherian will present two private staged reading presentations of the new family musical, The Bee-Man.

Stars Cecily Strong, Keegan-Michael Key, Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose, Dove Cameron, Jaime Camil, Kristin Chenoweth, Alan Cumming, Ann Harada, Jane Krakowski, Martin Short and Aaron Tveit are set to returner the new season, with Tituss Burgess and Patrick Page joining the cast for season two.

Read our critic's review. TOOTSIE is a contemporary take on an old trope: a man unconvincingly passes himself off as a woman, everyone in his world buys it, and hilarity tries to ensue. It's been done countless times, going back past Shakespeare to the ancient Greeks. That doesn't mean it always works, however, and TOOTSIE is a mixed bag.

Comedian Gabriel “Fluffy” Iglesias has announced a second show at Dodger Stadium after selling out his first show last week on behalf of Netflix Is A Joke: The Festival.  The new “Fluffy On The Field,” show will take place on Friday, May 6th and will only have seating on the field for an intimate experience. 

The track, written by Sabrina, John Ryan, Julia Michaels and J.P. Saxe, shows another side of the platinum-certified singer, songwriter, actress, designer, and producer. Shimmering piano wraps around a bass line as her smoky vocals resound. The tune features Sabrina playing pencils for percussion on the bridge. Watch a the new music video now!

Tootsie is a new musical based on the 1982 film starring Dustin Hoffman. The story follows Michael Dorsey ('Is he an actor? Yes, of course, he is. Is he successful? Yes, of course, he's not') and the opening number immediately makes his rotten reputation evident and known.
