The Venetian Theatre inside The Venetian® Resort Las Vegas is turning into the Love Shack for a ten-night residency from Friday, May 5 through Sunday, Sept. 3, 2023. All performances are scheduled to begin at 8:30 p.m. “So Roam If You Want To” … as long as you end up in the Love Shack in Las Vegas with The B-52s! 

In celebration of the birthday of Congresswoman Shirley Chisholm, the Shirley Chisholm Cultural Institute (SCCI) is launching the first round of the William R. Howard Scholarship on November 30, 2022. The scholarship in the amount of $500 each will be awarded to two young adults between the ages of 18 to 24 in the areas of art, culture, and/or academics.

Uptown! Knauer Performing Arts Center will come alive with music this summer. This downtown West Chester performing arts center will feature musicians from the region in a brand new Fresh & Local Summer Series.

The Collaboration will make its American premiere this winter on Broadway, featuring Paul Bettany  and Jeremy Pope. Written by Anthony McCarten and directed by Kwame Kwei-Armah, the production will be presented as part of Manhattan Theatre Club's upcoming 2022-2023 season.

Theater for the New City's award-winning Street Theater Company will open its 2022 annual tour Saturday, August 6 with 'Teacher! Teacher! or PS I Love You,' a rip-roaring original musical which tells the story of a struggling teacher in an underserved neighborhood who puts her life on the line for her kids.

Following an extensive search and interview process over the last few months, the esteemed nonprofit Theatre Bay Area has selected Oakland resident Sean Fenton as its new Executive Director. Fenton begins his new appointment June 15.
