Roundabout Theatre Company has announced complete casting for the Special Benefit Concert Reading of The Pirates of Penzance. The concert will be taking place on Monday, October 17, 2022 at the American Airlines Theatre. 

Nicky Jam (Bad Boys for Life) is set to star in the project, as well as produce as through La Industria, Inc., which he founded Brooks McLaren and D.J. Cotrona are attached to pen the screenplay. The two have already appeared on the famed Black List for their action-fueled script Fight or Flight.

Quavo and Takeoff have released the tracklist for their new album 'Only Built For Infinity Links.' Quavo brings his triplet flows and personalized style to his solo releases. Takeoff is the youngest member of trap trendsetters Migos, whose songs 'Versace' and 'Bad and Boujee' became major streaming hits.

Rogue Machine presents the Southern CA premiere of Samuel D. Hunter's “A GREAT WILDERNESS”, opening September 24, 2022.

Australian-born, Los Angeles-based Kito returns with “Sad Girl Music” feat. BANKS. The track follows Kito’s late 2021 EP Blossom and marks her first collaboration with BANKS since she co-produced “Gimme,” the lead single from the renowned singer-songwriter’s 2019 album, III. Kito and BANKS wrote “Sad Girl Music” with MNEK, M-Phazes, and Rory Noble.

Wizkid will be the latest artist to take the stage for Apple Music Live, the live performance series on Apple Music giving the biggest stars in music a global platform to connect with audiences around the world. Apple Music Live has previously featured exclusive live streamed performances from Harry Styles, Lil Durk, Mary J. Blige, and Luke Combs. 

Featuring frequent collaborators funkcutter and Stanley Bad on horns and violin, respectively, two songs also see Eleni Poulou, ex-The Fall, on keyboards. The album was mixed by long-term collaborator Max Walker, with stunning landscape photographer by Bea Dewhurst. The album was mastered in France by Ayumu Matsuo.

BIRDLAND JAZZ CLUB will present vocalist and pianist Steve Ross in a special new show “Autumn Serenades” on Monday, October 24 at 7:00 PM. Ross will sing a few mellow seasonal ballads, including “September in the Rain,” “Autumn Leaves,” “September Song,” and “When October Goes.”

First Stage kicks off its 2022/23 season with the delightful world premiere production of ARTHUR AND FRIENDS MAKE A MUSICAL!, written by First Stage Resident Playwright, lyricist and actor John Maclay, with Music and Lyrics by actor, composer/lyricist, writer and First Stage alum Brett Ryback, adapted from the books and characters created by Marc Brown and directed and choreographed by Bay Area Children's Theatre Artistic Director Khalia Davis.

Grammy-nominated recording artist, entrepreneur and philanthropist Fat Joe will serve as host and executive producer with Sean “Diddy” Combs attached to executive produce with his production company REVOLT Studios. SpringHill's multi-Emmy award winning studio division, founded by LeBron James and Maverick Carter, will produce the pilot as well.

Axis Theatre Company will present the return of Washington Square, a contemporary take on Henry James’s novel. Adapted and directed by Randy Sharp, the production features original music by Paul Carbonara, a cast of four, and is performed in the heart of Greenwich Village, a few blocks from the story’s 19th-century setting.
