Original Productions Theatre (OPT) and the Abbey Theater of Dublin will co-present the world premiere production of “Voice of the Net,” written by Otterbein University Associate Professor Jeremy Llorence. The in-person production will be performed June 2-5 and June 9-12, 2022. Tickets are $25 for adults and $20 for students, seniors and matinees (2 p.m. on June 5 and 12). New York City Mayor Eric Adams and the Trust for Governors Island today announced a robust calendar of exciting and wide-ranging programs on the Island for this summer, including the return of late nights on Fridays and Saturdays — another critical step in New York City’s economic recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic. Lincoln Center Theater has announced its upcoming production of Epiphany, a new play by Brian Watkins, directed by Tyne Rafaeli.  Epiphany will begin previews Thursday, May 19 and open on Thursday, June 16 at the Mitzi E. Newhouse Theater (150 West 65 Street). 

Theatre Rhinoceros presents a live, in-person production, HARTS' DESIRE, conceived and performed by Mark Nadler.

On Sunday, Dec 12th Broadway producers Tom D’Angora and Michael D'Angora were honored by Senator Brad Hoylman with a State Senate Proclamation naming it Tom and Michael D'Angora Appreciation Day in New York State’s 27th Senate District.

On Saturday October 2nd, the Woodstock Film Festival announced their annual jury award winners in each category for this year's films in competition and the recipients of their Honorary Maverick Award, Trailblazer Award, and Fiercely Independent Award.
