BroadwayWorld has just learned that Richard  Greenberg’s acclaimed Pulitzer Prize finalist THREE DAYS OF RAIN will begin performances on Saturday, January 30, 2027, and officially open Monday, March 1, 2027 at Broadway’s Longacre Theatre.

Prospect Musicals has revealed the complete cast for CELEBBRATION: A Concert Evening of Songs from the Fred Ebb Award Winners. The concert will take place at Symphony Space and feature Santino Fontana and more.

Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater will present nightly performances throughout October, featuring The Hot Sardines, Ron Carter, and birthday celebrations for Bud Powell and Thelonious Monk.

Second Stage Theater just announced complete casting for the upcoming Broadway premiere of THE FANTASTICKS, directed and  choreographed by Christopher Gattelli.  The company of THE FANTASTICKS will feature Maxim Chlumecky (Appropriate, Harry Potter and the Cursed  Child) as The Boy (Matt), Kevin del Aguila (Some Like It Hot, Frozen) as The Man Who Dies (Mortimer), David  Patrick Kelly (Once, The Warriors) as The Old Actor (Henry), Leslie Rodriguez Kritzer (Spamalot, Beetlejuice) as Matt’s Mother (Mildred Hucklebee), Nathan Levy (& Juliet, Aladdin) as The Boy (Lewis), Ruthie Ann Miles (Sweeney Todd, The King and I) as Lewis’ Mother (Bessie Mae Bellomy), Zane Phillips (“The Comeback,” “Mid Century Modern,” Fire Island) as The Narrator (El Gallo), and Ahmad Simmons (Illinoise, Hadestown) as The  Mute. Mr. Phillips will be making his Broadway debut.  

Carnegie Hall will present Gloria Estefan and Emily Estefan: A Night of Rhythm and Storytelling featuring eleven-time Grammy Award-winning artist Gloria Estefan and acclaimed singer-songwriter Emily Estefan in their Carnegie Hall headlining debuts.

Birdland Jazz Club and Birdland Theater in New York revealed a monthlong slate of jazz performances, including Bill Charlap and Renee Rosnes, Monty Alexander, and the MIKI YAMANAKA TRIO.

ANASTASIA will open at Adelaide's Festival Theatre for a limited season, following runs in Melbourne, Perth and Sydney, with Georgina Hopson leading the cast as Anya.

Theater Latté Da announced casting for its 2026 NEXT Festival of New Musicals, featuring three new works — BLACK GIRL IN PARIS, HEARTS IS BROKE, and ALICE IN NEVERLAND — each receiving developmental workshops and public presentations at the Ritz Theater in Minneapolis.

Tony Award-winning songwriting duo Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty will be honored with the Ockie Award at the Oscar Hammerstein Museum's Something Wonderful Gala, featuring a concert by Liz Callaway.

The show is directed by Olivier Award nominee Stafford Arima and features choreography from Rujuta Vaidya, music and lyrics by Sam Willmott, and a book by Rehana Lew Mirza and Mike Lew,

Stages St. Louis has announced the cast and creative team for its upcoming production of Guys & Dolls. Directed by James Monroe Iglehart, the classic musical will run July 24 through August 23 at The Ross Family Theatre.
