Tobacco Factory Theatres in Bristol have announced their Christmas cast for The Snow Queen which runs at the venue from 1st of December 2022 to 15th of January 2023. The production is being co-produced with New International Encounter (NIE) and Cambridge Junction.

Birmingham Rep have revealed a host of new productions for their spring 2023 season, including a brand-new production of the stage adaptation of John Steinbeck’s classic novel, Of Mice and Men.

Birdland Jazz Club will present Billy Gilman – the platinum-selling country music artist known for his run on NBC’s “The Voice” — in “A Billy Gilman Christmas” on Monday, December 5 at 7:00 PM.

Invincible – the Musical world premieres November 30, 2022, at The Wallis (with previews beginning November 22nd). I managed to catch Bradley Bredeweg, the book author of Invincible, between his multi-tasking of juggling multiple commitments.

The show will also feature a set of the pioneering classic hits “Ride My See-Saw,” “I’m Just a Singer (in a Rock and Roll Band),” “Isn’t Life Strange,” “Legend of a Mind” and “Nights in White Satin” in what promises to be a truly spectacular evening. After a series of four sold out concerts at the Union Theatre between 2016 and 2018,  Robert Gould will return to present another evening of songs with his lyrics,  “Perfect Imperfection”, on Sunday November 6 at 7.30pm.

It surprised the industry this week when playwright David Adjmi went public about his own tale of developing an Oscar Levant play with Sean Hayes – and not the one that will be seen on Broadway this spring. The McCrary Sisters, Lizz Wright and Mumu Fresh have been added to the lineup of A Tribute to Bob Dylan, in partnership with the Bob Dylan Center®, on September 30, 2022 at 8pm.

Martin Short and Shania Twain may be joining ABC's upcoming Beauty and the Beast special. They are in talks for Short to play Lumière and for Twain to play Mrs. Potts. They would join previously announced H.E.R. in the role of Belle, David Alan Grier as Cogsworth, Joshua Henry as Gaston, Josh Groban as the Beast, and Rita Moreno as the Narrator.
