Kids in the Rotunda, Madison's favorite, family-friendly, FREE Saturday arts performance series, kicks off its 2023/24 season on Overture Center's Rotunda stage, starting with a returning favorite, David Landau, on Saturday, Oct. 7. Carolines on Broadway, New York City's premier comedy venue, announces its talented line-up for the month of December.

The man charged with hitting stage and screen actress Lisa Banes with an electric scooter last year pled guilty to manslaughter on Wednesday.  Brian Boyd will be sentenced on November 30, and is expected to be sentenced to one to three years in prison.

Standup comedy siren Jiaoying Summers is standing up for Anti-Hate in her late September summer stops in New York City. Stop Asian Hate feat. Jiaoying Summers and Special Guests will be presented at Carolines on Broadway from 7PM  on September 28, 2022.

It's getting busier at our theatres, rehearsals, opening nights, the lights coming back on, and our beloved theatres back. Arne Beeker, Linz's very own Dramatic Adviser, texted me after a rehearsal of FANNY AND ALEXANDER, the latest work of Gisele Kverndokk (music) and Øysten Wiik (book and lyrics), based on Ingmar Bergman's 1982 movie, about how special this show is going to be.
