Vermont Shakespeare Festival Presents MARY STUART

Vermont Shakespeare Festival will present the U.S. premiere of a new version of the only classical play starring two women in power, Friedrich Schiller's Mary Stuart.  It will be presented as a staged reading, the latest in the Salon Series, on Saturday, October 6th at 7 p.m. at the Highland Center for the Arts in Greensboro, and on Sunday, October 7th at 3 p.m. in the McCarthy Recital Hall at St. Michael's College.  This is a rarely seen epic in a fresh and lean adaptation. Paper Mill Playhouse (Mark S. Hoebee-Producing Artistic Director), recipient of the 2016 Regional Theatre Tony Award, is proud to announce that interior renovations to the historic theater are complete in time for the 80th anniversary season.  The interior of the theater was renovated over the summer of 2018, including replacement of all the theater's seating. Theater supporters are invited to contribute to the seat campaign by purchasing a name plaque as part of the theater's "Name a Seat" fundraiser. This lays the foundation for a greater capital campaign for the Millburn theater. (more...)

Brandon Kahn Named General Manager At Alley Theatre

Managing Director Dean R. Gladden announced today that Brandon Kahn has been appointed as General Manager of the Alley Theatre. A native Houstonian, Brandon joins the Alley from Williamstown Theatre Festival where he served over six seasons as Resident Production Stage Manager, Associate Line Producer, and most recently as the Producing Manager. Philadelphia Theatre Company welcomes back everyone's favorite princesses for a heart-warming afternoon and evening concert for the entire family. During A Dream Is A Wish: Holiday Princess Concert audiences will sing-along with a gathering of  princes and princesses from popular movie musicals and television shows in a one-day-only event on Sunday, December 16, at 3:00pm and 6:00pm.
