The Fox Performing Arts Charitable Foundation, The Muny, and the Fabulous Fox announced nominees for the 2025-2026 Ken Page Awards, honoring St. Louis-area high school musical theatre. The ceremony will be held at the Fabulous Fox.

DINOSAUR WORLD LIVE, the Olivier Award-winning children's theatre show, will return to Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre this summer, featuring life-like dinosaurs including a T-Rex, Triceratops, and more for audiences ages 3 and up.

Disney Theatrical Group announced the full company for the final extension of HERCULES at Theatre Royal Drury Lane, with Bradley Gibson leading as the title character alongside newly announced cast members joining the production.

A one-night-only concert, THEATRE ROYALTY DRURY LANE, hosted by Brian Conley, will bring together West End stars including Samantha Barks, John Owen-Jones, and Rachel Tucker at Theatre Royal Drury Lane.

The Muny announced the lead cast for its upcoming production of SHREK THE MUSICAL, with Nik Walker, Kara Lindsay, and Marcus M. Martin heading the company at Forest Park in St. Louis.

Marking the first West End transfer for The Bridge, the multi-award-winning production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's Into The Woods will run in the West End this Autumn.

Shakespeare's Globe will present A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM from April 23 to August 29, 2026, directed by Emily Lim with a diverse cast including Audrey Brisson and Enyi Okoronkwo.

Joy Woods, celebrated for her performances on Broadway, will present her first solo concert in the UK at London's Cadogan Hall in June 2026. The event follows her acclaimed UK stage debut and promises an exclusive showcase of her talent.

Starlight Theatre in Kansas City will present its 2026 AdventHealth Broadway Series, featuring a lineup of acclaimed Broadway shows. Tickets are now on sale for this highly anticipated series.

Pushcart Players Artistic Director Paul Whelihan will appear in OVER THE RIVER AND THROUGH THE WOODS with The Company Theatre Group at Hackensack Performing Arts Center. The Joe DiPietro comedy runs March 7–15 in New Jersey.

Pittsburgh Public Theater kicks off 2026 with the Pittsburgh premiere of the recent Broadway adaptation of AN ENEMY OF THE PEOPLE, taking the stage at the O'Reilly Theater in Downtown Pittsburgh February 4-22, 2026.

Bristol Riverside Theatre will present (120 Radcliffe St, Bristol, PA 19007)! Alibi, a sharp and stylish adaptation of legendary mystery writer Agatha Christie’s The Murder of Roger Ackroyd, begins previews May 27 at Bristol Riverside Theatre, with Opening Night on May 29. The denizens of Skid Row had a lot to celebrats this weekend as Little Shop of Horrors Off-Broadway welcomed television star Sarah Hyland, Jimmy Awards winner Andrew Barth Feldman to the cast as Audrey and Seymour! See new photos from the celebration.

VJM: Thank you both for giving of your time to answer my questions.  I don’t think I’ve ever heard of two Choreographers being hired for the same Broadway show, not even a revival, that I can think of.  How did that come about for both of you? Ellenore Scott:  Funny Girl was my Broadway debut as a choreographer. I was so happy when I got a call from Michael Mayer (the director) asking me to work on this revival with him. He knew I was NOT a tap dancer and was aware of the multiple tap routines in the show and asked if I would be down to share the billing with Ayodele Casel. Ayo is an extraordinary artist so I was thrilled to be by her side as she made her Broadway debut as well. Michael first met me initially at Head Over Heels on Broadway where I was an associate choreographer to Spencer Liff. In 2019, he asked if I would choreograph the Off-Broadway revival of Little Shop of Horrors and we opened the show October 17th, 2019. I have loved working with Michael and feel as though he keeps his people close and I’m grateful he thought of me for this historic revival. Ayodele Casel:  I met Michael Mayer in 2016 when he directed a New York City Center Encores! show I performed in.  Later that fall he invited me to perform that piece in a Broadway for Hillary fundraiser he was also directing. We'd kept in touch over the years and in 2019, after seeing a show I’d premiered at The Joyce Theater, he asked if I would be interested in providing the Tap choreography for a revival he was working on. Like Ellenore shared, Michael wanted to work with us both to deliver the full choreographic vision of the show. I believe it was a very progressive vision on his part and I’m really thankful that I was able to make my Broadway debut with this team.

Porchlight Music Theatre is presenting the Chicago premiere of the critically acclaimed musical comedy Ernest Shackleton Loves Me, music by Brendan Milburn, lyrics by Val Vigoda, orchestrations and additional music by Ryan O’Connell and book by Joe DiPietro, at the Ruth Page Center for the Arts, now playing in a limited run through June 1 only. The theater community rallied together once again with spirited skits, dynamic dance and brilliant bonnets as Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS’ Easter Bonnet Competition returned April 24 and 25, 2023. The performances celebrated in-theater Red Bucket appeals that raised $3,601,355 for meals and medication, health care and hope for those who need them most.

What did Little Shop of Horrors is the kind of show that many love to hate while others love it.  The topics of abuse and drug use, which are not in the wheelhouse of musicals, sometimes turn people off, as does the phy-sci-centered plot.  The GLT production is as good as you are going to get.  It solidly hits all the comic and horror notes.  It’s a must see for the script’s fans! our critic think of Little Shop of Horrors at Great Lakes Theater?
