Theater Resources Unlimited will host a free meet-and-greet info session about their Producer Development and Mentorship Program on Monday, August 16, 2021 at 6pm ET. TRU is The only theater production program to offer in-depth instruction from accomplished producers at an affordable price.

East West Players, the nation's largest producer of Asian American theatrical works, along with EWP Producing Artistic Director Snehal Desai, will be honored by city leaders on Wednesday, June 30th at 3:30pm at a LA CityView Channel 35 program, broadcast live as part of the virtual celebrations for the annual Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender (LGBT) Heritage Month, commonly known as “Pride Month,” in the City of Los Angeles.

ELYOT & AMANDA: ALL ALONE from Noël Coward's PRIVATE LIVES is the next production in Playhouse on Park's 12th Main Stage Season. Veanne Cox and Ezra Barnes will co-star in this timely, lighthearted adaptation. It will be available to stream online from February 10th - 28th, 2021.

This commercially-minded move unsettles the entire company, even complicating his romantic liaisons, and the whole world turns topsy-turvy!

On Monday October 5th, MONDAYS For BIDEN, a group created by Broadway Veteran Jeffrey Schecter, held DANCING For DEMOCRACY, a virtual fundraiser to benefit the Biden Victory Fund. The event was held on the Broadway Sessions YouTube Channel and was hosted by Schecter and fellow A Chorus Line Alum, J. Elaine Marcos.

MONDAYS For BIDEN, a group conceived by Broadway's Jeffrey 'Shecky' Schecter, has announced their virtual fundraising event 'DANCING For DEMOCRACY' on Monday October 5th at 9:00pm EST. The group was created to provide a virtual place for busy artists, humanitarians, parents and all who want to help JOE BIDEN become our next US President.

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU), in collaboration with four-time Tony Award-winning producer Cheryl Wiesenfeld (The Heidi Chronicles, Rocky, All the Way, The Gershwin's Porgy & Bess, Vanya & Sonya & Masha & Spike, Elaine Stritch: At Liberty, The Exonerated), has announced the Producer Development & Mentorship Program.

Arthur Laurents was best known for his work as librettist on Gypsy and West Side Story, but was also well known as a playwright, having won a Tony Award® for Hallelujah, Baby! in 1968. Later as a director, he was Tony-nominated for Gypsy in 1975 (and the 2008 revival) as well as the original 1984 La Cage Aux Folles.

Herman is known for his work on Broadway classics such as Hello, Dolly!, Mame, La Cage Aux Folles, Dear World, Mack & Mabel, The Grand Tour, Milk & Honey and many more. He has been nominated for five Tony Awards, and won twice, for Hello, Dolly! and La Cage Aux Folles. He received a Lifetime Achievement Tony Award in 2009, and a Kennedy Center Honors in 2010.
