Jesus Christ Superstar Revival

The legendary rock opera by lyricist Tim Rice composer Andrew Lloyd Webber, the premiere of Jesus Christ Superstar redefined the Broadway musical and 40 years later it remains a beloved classic. The instantly recognisable tunes and daringly contemporary lyrics made it one of the most popular albums of all-time, selling over seven million copies, as well as creating a truly global smash hit, with sold-out productions in more than 40 countries.

New production photos have been released of Jesus Christ Superstar starring Sam Ryder as Jesus. The production is now playing at The London Palladium through September 5, with an official opening night set for July 7, before transferring to Theatre Royal Drury Lane for a limited 12-week engagement from October 16, 2026, through January 9, 2027.

For the first time in The London Palladium's history, audiences can stand on stage during JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR, with tickets priced at £25 available now.

The complete cast for JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR at The London Palladium has been announced, led by Sam Ryder as Jesus alongside Tyrone Huntley as Judas, with six performers rotating as King Herod.
