Lincoln Center Theater will revive The Sound of Music in 2027, marking the second ever revival of Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II's beloved musical. Director Lear deBessonet returns to the  Beaumont with the first Broadway revival of The Sound of Music in nearly 30 years,  starring Tony Award nominee Jasmine Amy Rogers and choreographed by  Christopher Gattelli. This will be the first Rogers & Hammerstein Broadway revival since Oklahoma! in 2019.

After over seven years of playing Chris Bean in The Play That Goes Wrong off-Broadway, Chris Lanceley is hanging up the mustache. We had the chance to speak with the actor before leaving the show, discussing how he first got started with The Play That Goes Wrong, what it’s been like playing multiple characters, and why the show will always be a place for him to come home to.

“Growing up, I was a singer as well as an actor, but dance is what I fell in love with,” says New York-based choreographer and licensed acupuncturist Adam Barruch. “I’m very much interested in the intersection of healing and dance and seeing how they intertwine.” Barruch began his career as a young actor, performing professionally on Broadway and in film and television, working with prominent figures such as Tony Bennett, Jerry Herman and Susan Stroman. He later received dance training at LaGuardia High School for Music & Art and Performing Arts. After three years, he graduated early and was accepted into the dance department at The Juilliard School.
