The original scheduled run of this production, which had been announced for January, 2022, was postponed due to the ongoing health crisis.

Martin McDonagh's Hangmen marks McDonagh's seventh play to be produced on Broadway and his return to the stage following his BAFTA and Golden Globe Award-winning and Oscar-nominated film Three Billboards Outside of Ebbing, Missouri. Hangmen will officially open on Thursday, March 19, 2020, at Broadway's Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street).

Actor Douglas Rain, Stratford Pioneer And Voice Of 2001's HAL, Dies At 90

The Stratford Festival lost one of its pioneers today. Douglas Rain died of natural causes early this morning at the age of 90 at St. Marys Memorial Hospital, just outside of Stratford, Ontario, the city in which he established his career, becoming one of the world's great classical actors.

Matt Dorrien's KEXP Session Is Live Now

Matt Dorrien, who released his modern classics album In The Key of Grey earlier this year on Portland's Mama Bird Recording Co., went up to Seattle to record a stunning live session at the venerable KEXP studios where he performed “Baby I'm So Lost”, “Underwear Blues”, “All I Wanted To Say” and “United States Of Nothing”. You can now find the entire session right HERE. Matt Dorrien's In the Key of Grey. Here you can find the private album stream and download. Dorrien will be playing a couple shows with labelmate Haley Heynderickx including a songwriters round with a handful of fellow Mama Bird Recording Co. artists on September 27th at Revolution Hall in Portland and in Seattle at Ballard Homestead September 29th.


Heartbreak House has had 9 productions including Broadway which opened in 1920, Broadway which opened in 1938, Broadway which opened in 1959, Off-Broadway which opened in 1976, Off-Broadway which opened in 1980, Broadway which opened in 1983, Broadway which opened in 2006, Broadway which opened in 2006 and Off-Broadway which opened in 2018.
Heartbreak House has been nominated for two Tony Awards. It was nominated for Best Costume Design for Jane Greenwood and Best Revival for Circle in the Square.
Heartbreak House has been nominated for the Outstanding Revival of a Play award at the Drama Desk Awards.
