Everclear, led by vocalist, guitarist and founder Art Alexakis, will hit the road this fall for The Lucky 7 Tour featuring special guests American Hi-Fi. The 24-date headlining tour will kick off October 22nd in Los Angeles and conclude November 22nd in Nashville.

Broadway has a long history of one-person shows, including many that have been added to the canon in this century. Seeing one actor powerfully create a whole world on stage can be an exceptional experience. Of course, one handers are hardly one-person projects; while there may only be one actor on stage, they are collaborating with an entire team of creatives, designers, and behind-the-scenes personnel to bring a show to life.

I had the chance to see the national tour of Mrs. Doubtfire while it was at the Ordway Center for the Performing Arts this week, and it ended up being a really fun night at the theater. The musical is based on the well-known 1993 film starring Robin Williams, and it follows the same story about a struggling actor who disguises himself as a nanny so he can keep seeing his kids after a divorce.
