Internationaal Theater Amsterdam has announced that director Eline Arbo has committed herself to the theatre as Associate Artistic Director. BendFilm has announced the 20 films and filmmakers awarded jury prizes and more than $12,000 at the 2022 BendFilm Festival. BendFilm will present encore screenings of the award-winning titles on Sunday October 9 which concludes the in-person portion of the festival. A musical adaption of Hocus Pocus might be coming to Broadway. The original film's producer, David Kirschner, has revealed that a stage adaption of the cult classic is in the works. Directed by Kenny Ortega, the original film starred Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy.
