The Public Theater has announced complete casting for the world premiere of PLAYS FOR THE PLAGUE YEAR, written by and featuring Pulitzer Prize winner and Public Theater Writer-in-Residence Suzan-Lori Parks and directed by Bessie Award winner Niegel Smith. 

City Theatre at Sacramento City College begins its 2022-23 season with Life is a Dream by Pedro Calderón de la Barca, in a modern translation by Nilo Cruz. Roberto Pomo and Christine Nicholson are co-directors for this beautiful classic comedy which asks some of the same questions about reality and dreams that we are asking right now.

The Kyiv City Ballet, under the artistic direction of Ivan Kozlov, has announced additional cities in their U.S tour, running from September 15 to October 26, 2022. The Fall tour is a US premiere and marks the Kyiv City Ballet’s first United States performances ever. 

RED BULL THEATER will kick off the 2022-’23 Season with Hispanic Golden Age Classics - Lope de Vega, beginning Thursday September 8th. Presented in collaboration with Diversifying the Classics | UCLA, this three-part series of events will focus on Lope de Vega and his play The Capulets and the Montagues (Castelvines y Monteses).

Paper Mill Playhouse has announced casting for On Your Feet! The Story of Emilio & Gloria Estefan, the first production of Paper Mill’s 2022-2023 season. The production will feature Linedy Genao (On Your Feet! on Broadway) as Gloria, and Brandon Espinoza (Broadway’s SpongeBob SquarePants) as Emilio.

New York City Ballet will present its tenth annual Fall Fashion Gala on Wednesday, September 28, 2022 at 7pm at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center. This year’s event will honor Sarah Jessica Parker, a vice chair of the NYCB Board of Directors, who conceived the Fall Fashion Gala in 2012.

Patchogue Theatre for the Performing Arts (PTPA) announces Drive-By Truckers on Monday, August 8th at 8:00pm. Lobby and bar concessions open at 7pm. Tickets range between $29-$59 plus fees and can be purchased online anytime.
