Parsons Dance (David Parsons, Artistic Director) returns to The Joyce Theater for its annual two-week season, from Wednesday, March 15 through Sunday, March 26.  

MasterVoices continues its eclectic 2022-23 season on March 23 at Central Synagogue with Ted Sperling leading O How Good, a performance of Jewish sacred music. Award-winning Dame Edna Impersonator, Scott F. Mason, brings his stand-up comedy tribute show to Don't Tell Mama in NYC on February 18 at 4pm, March 11 at 8pm, and April 22 at 8pm. 'The Dame's Sassy Saturdays' is directed by Tanya Moberly. 

The Acting Company has announced the cast for their reading of The Misanthrope. Molière's classic play is translated by Neil Bartlett and directed by The Acting Company's Producing Director Devin Brain.

Lyric Fest has commissioned COTTON, a new multimedia work combining photography, poetry, and song that is inspired by the cotton photography of Philadelphia artist John Dowell. Slated to have its world premiere performance on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 7:30 p.m. at the Philadelphia Episcopal Cathedral.

The American Symphony Orchestra continues its 2022-23 season on January 27 with a program at St. Bartholomew's Church, a New York National Historic Landmark, exploring music for organ and orchestra by Camille Saint-Saëns and Dame Ethel Smyth. It features soloist Paolo Bordignon, organist and choirmaster of the church and harpsichordist of the New York Philharmonic, along with soprano Anya Matanovic, mezzo-soprano Eve Gigliotti, tenor Joshua Blue, and bass Adam Lau.  

The Joyce Theater Foundation will welcome the contemporary dance company of Staatstheater Mainz, tanzmainz, for its Joyce debut. The 21-strong company of dancers brings one its most recent commissions, Sharon Eyal’s Soul Chain, to The Joyce Theaterfrom January 24-28.

In addition to a new mono remix of the entire album on red and white LPs, this package includes a red glitter 7' with Jack White's original solo demos of Elephant fan favorite 'Hypnotize,' a DVD with never-before-seen footage from the era, and a 28-page booklet of previously-unshared photos, all housed in a custom slipcase.
