TFANA will present Alice Childress’s Wedding Band. Director Awoye Timpo’s new staging, running April 23–May 15, brings Childress’s masterpiece to New York audiences for the first time since 1972, when it made its New York premiere in a production directed by Childress and Joseph Papp.

A special tribute to Stephen Sondheim will take place during this year's Grammy Awards, Variety reports. Sung by Cynthia Erivo, Leslie Odom Jr., Ben Platt and Rachel Zegler, the performance will be part of the show's traditional In Memoriam segment, which honors those we have lost in the past year.

Viewers will get full concert performances from Tina Turner, the Notorious BIG, Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen, Prince, H.E.R., Aretha Franklin, Rod Stewart, Bee Gees, Alicia Keys w/ Jay-Z, Joni Mitchell, Ray Charles and Willie Nelson, and Queen. Interviews include Oprah Winfrey, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Bruce Springsteen, H.E.R., Carole King, and more.

Actor, comedian, screenwriter and director ROB SCHNEIDER has announced his I HAVE ISSUES TOUR, kicking off September 24, 2021 in Springfield, IL.   Tickets for his Billings appearance go on sale to the public on Friday, August 13 at 10 AM.

Today Tame Impala (Kevin Parker) shares the official video for “Breathe Deeper.”  The track is taken from The Slow Rush, his fourth album as Tame Impala which was released in February to world-wide critical acclaim.

Sundance Institute will gather 25 celebrated and revered expert voices across film, art, culture and science to award feature-length and short films shown at the 2020 Sundance Film Festival with 31 prizes, announced at a ceremony February 1. Short Film Awards will be announced at a separate ceremony on January 28. The Festival takes place January 23 through February 2 in Park City, Salt Lake City and Sundance, Utah.

West Side Story is officially in previews on Broadway! The new production is directed by Tony Award winner Ivo van Hove; and for the first time ever in the United States, will feature all-new choreography by the internationally acclaimed Anne Teresa de Keersmaeker. West Side Story will begin previews on December 10, 2019 and open February 6th, 2020 at the Broadway Theatre.
