Hulu and VICE Media announced their first-ever content licensing agreement. The new pact — VICELAND's first SVOD partnership — will increase Hulu's library of unscripted programming with 15 critically acclaimed series from VICELAND, including all past episodes of the Emmy Award-nominated Gaycation and Woman, as well as popular shows such as F*ck, That's Delicious. These and other VICELAND series will be available to stream exclusively on Hulu beginning June 8th, significantly expanding the reach of the new channel's award-winning content library.

FX has landed the first-run North American rights to The New York Times's first major foray into TV news, called The Weekly, in partnership with Hulu, which will be the exclusive SVOD streaming home to new episodes of the series the day after air. The announcement was made today by John Landgraf, CEO of FX Networks and FX Productions.

Hulu has expanded its slate of critically-acclaimed original series with new series orders for Four Weddings and a Funeral and Ramy, which join upcoming Hulu Originals Castle Rock, Hulu's second project from J.J. Abrams and Stephen King set to premiere on July 25; Catch-22, from George Clooney and starring Kyle Chandler; The First, from Beau Willimon and starring Sean Penn; and Little Fires Everywhere, from Reese Witherspoon and Kerry Washington, based on the acclaimed novel of the same name.

Pink Martini, a McCallum favorite returns for eight great shows Friday, February 9, through Thursday, February 15. In 1994 in his hometown of Portland, Thomas Lauderdale was working in politics, with the intention of eventually running for office. Like other eager politicians-in-training, he went to every political fundraiser under the sun, but was dismayed to find the music at these events underwhelming, lackluster, loud and un-neighborly. Drawing inspiration from music from all over the world, crossing genres of classical, jazz and old-fashioned pop, and hoping to appeal to conservatives and liberals alike, he founded the "little orchestra" Pink Martini in 1994 to provide beautiful and inclusive musical for political fundraisers for progressive causes such as civil rights, the environment and affordable housing.
