The Playhouse on Rodney Square will host the 2026/27 Broadway in Wilmington season featuring premieres of Six and The Wiz, among others. Subscriptions are now available.

Performances are now underway for the Broadway premiere of the new musical THE LOST BOYS. The production will open on Sunday, April 26, 2026 at The Palace Theatre. Meet the cast of THE LOST BOYS here!

From April 1st-19th, Theatre Raleigh will be presenting the Tony-winning musical COME FROM AWAY at the De Ann S. Jones Theatre. Sara Jean Ford and I previously spoke in 2023 talking about North Carolina Theatre’s production of MARY POPPINS.

The off-Broadway show SILVER MANHATTAN, featuring Jesse Malin, has extended its run due to popular demand. Originally scheduled to close earlier, the production will now continue performances through April 19.

Born in Venezuela and raised in Texas, Fabiola Caraballo Quijada is starring as Juliet in the National Tour of the hit Broadway musical, & JULIET. On 23 November, ROAM A New Musical premiered in a staged concert production at the Shaftesbury Theatre. The show, with music and lyrics by Alexander Sage Oyen and a book by Michael Dovid, tells the story of a nomadic clan and their familial relationships using a roc-pop-Romani fusion score. Recently, we had the chance to speak with Ramin Karimloo, who plays Yoska, and Diego Rodriguez, who plays his son, Pesha. We discussed what it has been like preparing for the one-night performance, what it is like performing in revivals versus new work and even get their thoughts on mirrors in a rehearsal room!
