The musical community Jaksical held their latest production, Kapan Nikah? (“When Are You Getting Married?”) on February 21-23 2025 at Teater Salihara. This is the second installment in the ‘Kapan?’ series, which started with Kapan Resign? (“When Are You Resigning?”) in 2023.

Life of Pi, the new play based on the book of the same name, is being hosted at the Wharton Center from March 11th to 16th. DECEMBER: A LOVE YEARS IN THE MAKING is an original work from Texas playwright Marisela Treviño Orta, and was originally a part of the Alley All New Festival in 2023. Orta has MFAs in both Playwriting and Poetry, and the intersection of the two truly shines in this heartfelt production.

2025 has kicked off on a high note for Vancouver's theatre scene. Among the many shows debuting this month is one that perfectly captures the essence of chaos, featuring a quirky plot, catchy songs, and eccentric characters. BEETLEJUICE The Musical made its debut in Vancouver, BC on January 21 at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre. Running until January 26, the show based off of the 1988 Beetlejuice film by Tim Burton, brings audiences into a new era of musical theatre.
