Music Theatre of Connecticut (MTC) MainStage, Fairfield County's award-winning professional theatre company, continues their 39th season with Frank McCourt's The Irish…and How They Got That Way.

The Joyce Theater Foundation will present the Joyce Theater debut of choreographer Noé Soulier with The Waves, receiving its U.S. premiere for two performances only, March 4–5, in the Tino & Rajika Puri Auditorium.

Olly Alexander and Iz Hesketh will join Vanessa Williams and Matt Henry in a UK reading of Stan Zimmerman's suicide awareness play, RIGHT BEFORE I GO, at London's Soho Theatre.

SFJAZZ will present a diverse lineup of jazz performances in February 2026, featuring renowned artists and ensembles. The month-long event will take place at the iconic SFJAZZ Center in San Francisco.

Hudson Valley Shakespeare will introduce a new website and digital experience aligned with the debut of their permanent venue, the Samuel H. Scripps Theater Center, in 2026.

Then Jerico will bring The Return tour to Birmingham and Liverpool with two UK performances. Led by founding member Mark Shaw, the band will perform material spanning its late-1980s catalogue and later releases. The shows form part of the group’s ongoing UK and European tour.

Rock of Ages a musical set on the Sunset Strip in 1987, following the story of a small-town girl and a city boy who meet while chasing their rock ‘n’ roll dreams. It is a big, brash, energetic tribute to classic rock, to over-the-top ballads and fierce guitar, to the gritty glamour and rough energy of the Sunset Strip. This jukebox musical features ‘80s hits such as “We Built this City”, “I Wanna Rock”, and “Don’t Stop Believin’”.

Citadel Theatre will launch its 2025–26 season with William Goldman’s stage adaptation of Misery, based on the iconic Stephen King novel. See photos of the production.

The mental health risk of misguided love plays out in the crazy comedy of WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF A NERVOUS BREAKDOWN. David Yazbek (music and lyrics) and Jeffrey Lane (book)  gave Pedro Almodovar’s 1988 film of the same name the musical theatre treatment in 2010 resulting in a madcap merging of Spanish inspired music and farcical comedy with an 1980’s aesthetic which is all right is director Alexander Berlage’s wheelhouse.
