Stage and screen star Michael C. Hall is now fronting a band! The Princess Goes to the Butterfly Museum are made up of Michael plus two musicians he met on the set of Broadway's Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Peter Yanowitz and Matt Katz-Bohen.

The next musical episode of Riverdale has been delayed. The episode was originally set to air on April 8th. The episode, titled Wicked Little Town, has been revealed to be centered around the musical Hedwig and the Angry Inch.

The Israeli premiere of John Cameron Mitchell and Stephen Trask's HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH has been postponed, due to the COVID-19 outbreak.

Portland Center Stage at The Armory announced its 2020-2021 ten-show season, featuring music, humor, Tony Award-winning classics, and a Northwest Stories commissioned world premiere from nationally renowned playwright Lauren Yee.

11th Hour Theatre Company and Cardinal Stage team up to present the fourth-wall smashing musical sensation, HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH. This production will be directed by 11th Hour co-founder and resident director, Megan Nicole O'Brien, and star another 11th Hour co-founder and local favorite, Steve Pacek, in the title role.

Casting has been announced and tickets are now on sale for Starring Buffalo's EVITA, April 3-4 at Shea's 710 Theater. Tony Award-Winner Lena Hall (Hedwig and the Angry Inch, Kinky Boots) will play Eva, joining the previously announced Robi Hager (Spring Awakening, Bye Bye Birdie) as Che, Nicholas Rodriguez (Tarzan, The Sound of Music) as Juan Peron, Darryl Semira (Mamma Mia, Bombay Dreams) as Magaldi and Leah Berst (MusicalFare's Bright Star) as The Mistress. Conceived by Jeff Whitty, with an original book by Whitty, adapted by James Magruder, originally directed by Michael Mayer, and set to the music of the iconic 1980s all-girl rock band The Go-Go's, this high-octane, laugh-out-loud love story includes hit songs like, “We Got the Beat,” “Our Lips Are Sealed,” “Vacation,” “Heaven is a Place on Earth” and “Mad About You.”

HEDWIG is about East German born Hansel Schmidt who becomes Hedwig Robinson, the rock 'n roll goddess and 'internationally ignored song stylist.' Hedwig tells her story over the course of this rock/cabaret/stand-up comedy show - from a childhood on the other side of the Berlin Wall, to a botched sex-change operation, abandonment, betrayal, and the search for love and wholeness. It is heartbreaking, hilarious, and will make you want to headbang!

Clay Smith's drag persona Delighted Tobehere is well known, not only in the Upstate, but all over the globe thanks to the amazing performance she delivered on America's Got Talent a few seasons ago.
