BroadwayWorld has just learned that original Come From Away cast member Pearl Sun will fill in as 'Janice & Others' in Broadway's Come From Away, January 7 through March 29. Sun takes over for Emily Walton, who departs the production to star in Darling Grenadine.

In July 2009, in the backroom of a narrow shop, two young, first-time playwrights performed their first musical at the Toronto Fringe. The show had a quirky title that immediately got it attention. When the first audiences saw it, they knew they were witnessing something unique from writers who had a very promising future. The show became a Fringe sensation. Four months later, David Mirvish, the largest Canadian commercial theatre producer, presented a longer vision of the show at the 700-seat Panasonic Theatre (now the CAA Theatre), where it was extended five times.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Emily Walton will make her Broadway debut in Come From Away as Janice & Others on Tuesday, November 12. Emily, who starred in the national tour, is the niece of Jim Walton, who currently plays Nick & others in the Broadway company.

It's just her and the sky! As BroadwayWorld previously reported, original Come From Away cast member Jenn Colella is set to play her final performance as Captain Beverly Bass on November 10, 2019. To celebrate her incredible run, we're looking back at highlights from her journey with the show, from its out-of-town productions to opening night on Broadway and beyond. Check it all out!

Fresh from her role as Beverley Bass in Come From Away on tour, Becky Gulsvig will take over the role on Broadway, beginning November 12.

BroadwayWorld has just learned that Kenita R. Miller has just joined the company of Tony Award-winning and Olivier Award-winning musical Come From Away, now in its third smash hit year on Broadway. Miller will play 'Hannah,' previously played by Q. Smith.

Nick Katsoris stumbled upon an idea for a children's book about a little lamb named Loukoumi that has expanded beyond its pages in spectacular ways. The Loukoumi movement caught the eye of Broadway hit Come From Away. We caught up with Katsoris to talk about the amazing work his foundation is doing and how he's teaming up with Come From Away to spread the message of good deeds.

Tickets for the Tony Award-winning and Olivier Award-winning musical COME FROM AWAY, now in its third smash hit year on Broadway, are now on sale for performances through Sunday, June 28, 2020. COME FROM AWAY began performances on February 18, 2017 and officially opened to critical acclaim on March 12, 2017 at Broadway's Gerald Schoenfeld Theatre (236 West 45th Street), where the show continues to play to standing-room-only audiences.

A new production of the global success, Come From Away, will open in its first non-English speaking country with a tour of China in 2020.

Only through September 15th can you catch the recent Broadway hit Come From Away at Wharton Center in East Lansing. This poignant yet uplifting tale opened up on Broadway in 2017, and has since launched productions all over the world.
