FringeArts has announced the full roster of programming for the 27th Annual Philadelphia Fringe Festival, a city-wide celebration of progressive, world-class art that expands the imagination and boldly defies expectations.

On Jeff Rosenstock’s new album, HELLMODE,he returns with the most confident & cohesive album of his career. Recorded at EastWest Studios with Grammy nominated engineer Jack Shirley (Deafheaven, Joyce Manor), and captured live to tape in the same room where albums like Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere and Toxicity were recorded.

Following the release of her critically acclaimed sophomore album, MYCELiUM earlier this month via Mad Decent, Aluna is back with the official music video for the album’s focus track, ‘Running Blind’, a collaboration with French producer and DJ Tchami, with vocals from Aluna and Atlanta-born artist, songwriter, and producer Kareen Lomax.

Jenny Owen Youngs releases her second single “Knife Went In” from her forthcoming highly-anticipated fourth studio album Avalanche. “Knife Went In” is an exploration of vulnerability in early stages of relationships and finding common ground in shared wounds, with Youngs’ gentle voice gliding smoothly over looping nylon-stringed guitar.

Summer is here and the New Jersey Fringe Festival is near!  The 3-day outdoor marathon event features live theater performance, music, art vendors, food, craft brews and wine, plus outdoor yoga for the whole family. The event runs August 18th-20th and celebrates creativity and artistic expression, bringing together talented artists and performers from the region to showcase their work in multiple hand-picked venues throughout Downtown Hammonton.

Starcatcher is written and recorded by the band—lead singer Josh Kiszka, guitarist Jake Kiszka, bassist/keyboardist Sam Kiszka and drummer Danny Wagner—alongside Grammy-winning producer Dave Cobb (Chris Stapleton, Brandi Carlile). A song that carries the throughline for which this album is thematically based, “Maladapted” is an exercise in letting go and simply relinquishing whatever control one has to surrender to a power greater than themselves, which is a feeling that frontman Donovan Melero felt to be one of the most liberating and empowering emotions.
