A CHORUS LINE takes Firestone Theatre stage Six Times In April

Firestone Theatre presents the school edition of the seminal musical A Chorus Line. Evening performances will be held at 7:30 p.m. on April 3, 4, 9, 10, and 11, 2020. A single matinee performance will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 5, 2020. General admission tickets are $10.00 in advance, and $12.00 at the door. A reserved seat is available online for $14.00 and a premium VIP seat is $17.00. Tickets are available online now at FirestoneTheatre.com. Hard tickets will be available at the school between 11 and 1:00 p.m. starting Monday, March 23, 2020. Tickets for A Chorus Line will also be available at the door on the evening of performance.

Villanova Theatre will present Merrily We Roll Along, the last show of the 2019-2020 Season, directed by Valerie Joyce, running March 17-29. Prospect New Orleans is proud to announce the appointment of two new members to its board. Dawn DeDeaux and Arthur Lewis will help guide the organization in the lead-up to its fifth edition, Yesterday we said tomorrow, curated by Artistic Directors Naima J. Keith and Diana Nawi. Opening on October 24, 2020 and remaining on view through January 24, 2021, Prospect.5 will take place in museums, cultural spaces, and public sites throughout New Orleans. The exhibition will feature artists based in the United States, the Caribbean, Africa, and Europe, many of whom will produce newly commissioned projects.

Latino Theater Company Has Announced its 2020 Season

The more things change - the more they stay the same. L.A.'s Latino Theater Company explores the political and cultural climate in 2020 with an eclectic season of productions that looks back at our history and ahead to our future: revivals that reflect the company's past work and the tumultuous fight for Chicano civil rights; contemporary work that explores today's issues; and unique offerings by two guest artists from Spain. In addition, the company will present two free film series, the company's annual free play reading series, and, in December, for the 18th consecutive year, the beloved site-specific holiday pageant La Virgen de Guadalupe, Dios Inantzin at L.A.'s Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels. All performances and screenings, except La Virgen, take place at The Los Angeles Theatre Center, a five-theater complex located in a landmark building in Downtown's Historic Core.
