Paramount Bar Presents FANS - A Look At The People Who Make A Great Show
Come celebrate Seattle photographer Christopher Nelson's very first show on Thursday, March 10th from 5pm-8pm in The Paramount Theatre Bar. Admission is FREE and cash bar will be available.
For the past decade, Nelson has documented the most popular performers, concerts and festivals the Northwest has to offer. In this exhibit he turned his camera away from the stage and towards the audience bringing to focus the thousands (or, in some cases, tens of thousands) of enthusiastic fans from Sasquatch! Musical Festival, Marymoor Amphitheater and The Paramount Theatre. "I quickly realized that these shots were the ones that seemed to do the best job of telling the story of a show, and they often inspired me more than any of the images of the superstars themselves," said Christopher Nelson, Photographer. After March 10th, the photographs will continue to be on display in The Paramount Theatre Bar, which is open during every ticketed performance.The Paramount Theatre is located at 911 Pine Street, on the corner of 9th and Pine in downtown Seattle.
