Dear Billy is a unique theatrical production celebrating the life and legacy of Scotland's beloved comedian, Billy Connolly. Written and performed by Gary McNair, the show incorporates personal stories shared by audiences, making each performance distinct. Directed by Joe Douglas, this evocative piece captures the laughter and spirit of the Big Yin, reflecting his significant impact on Scottish culture. Following a successful tour, it runs at the Assembly Rooms during the Edinburgh Festival Fringe from August 13 to August 25, 2024.
