1984, a co-production between Citizens Theatre, Dundee Rep Theatre, and The Royal Lyceum Edinburgh, is adapted from George Orwell's classic novel by writer Chris Hannan and directed by Citizens Theatre Artistic Director Dominic Hill. Orwell's stark warning about truth, power, and control has surged back onto international bestseller lists amid today's shifting world politics. Following its run at the Citizens Theatre, the production will tour to Aberdeen, Dundee, and Edinburgh.
