Directed by Cora Bissett, the production delves into the personal and artistic journey of June Carter Cash, highlighting her relationship with her musical heritage and the struggles faced by working-class women artists. With live music performed by a talented trio, this intimate piece of gig theatre premiered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe and will tour various Scottish venues throughout late summer.
