Through the Shortbread Tin at Glasgow Cathedral, Stirling Castle and Urquhart Castle (Visitor Centre)

Through the Shortbread Tin is a poetic, poignant and playful show written and performed by Martin O'Connor, performed in Scots with Gaelic songs, which explores Scottish culture, myths, history and identity. This special tour to historic settings is presented in partnership with Historic Environment Scotland, connecting O'Connor's exploration of Scotland's history with the resonant surrounds of landmark sited locations. Directed by Joanna Bowman, O'Connor is joined on stage by Gaelic singers Josie Duncan, Iona Mairead, and Mairi McGillivray, singing original songs composed by Oliver Searle.
