The Tin Soldier is about two people who find each other in a rough tough world, although, like winter, nothing lasts forever. Written by acclaimed writer of young persons theatre Mike Kenny (The Railway Children) and featuring designs by award-winning Russian puppet designer Victor Nikonenko, BOP's new Christmas show is a magical tale of derring do, devotion and never giving up.

Edinburgh International Festival Director's Contract Extended

The Edinburgh International Festival announced that Fergus Linehan, Festival Director, is to extend his contract and stay in post until Festival 2022. Fergus presented his first Edinburgh International Festival programme in August 2015 and was appointed to lead the organisation for five Festivals until 2019. The Board of the Festival has now invited him to lead a further three Festivals, until September 2022.
