White Savior at Bodhi Tree Concerts

Bodhi Tree Concerts presents a free reading of White Savior, a new comedy-drama by Catherine Filloux, featuring San Diego theater actors Sandy Campbell and Linda Libby as sisters Jean and Susan, along with Durwood Murray as Edward. The play explores the dynamic between the two sisters and Edward, a Black journalist, as they navigate their conflicting worldviews while new family tensions arise. Following the reading, there will be a community conversation with the playwright and local guests, addressing themes of disagreement and finding common ground. Directed by Vanessa Dinning, the event aims to foster discussion in advance of the upcoming elections.
