This Broadway/San Diego ~ A Nederlander Presentation will clip-clop its way into the San Diego Civic Theatre from September 8 - 13, 2009.

As part of Cygnet's relocation to the Old Town San Diego State Historic Park, performances have begun for Storytelling on the Green, out-door, abridged Shakespeare performed by two actors in mid-19th century attire. Beginning in April, 2009, Cygnet's Shakespearean players have creatively performed the lamentable tale of Macbeth, weekly - Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, on the public green of Old Town San Diego State Historic Park. The adorable one-year old Barney, a terrier and golden retriever mix, is currently waiting at the Helen Woodward for his debut on opening night. Together, with owner/operator Rob Kuty of San Diego Pet Training, Barney has trained over the past few months to perform his first and last stage role as Sandy in the family musical classic Annie.
