New Youth Orchestra is Being Launched in Killeen This Year

Currently, there is no orchestra program at Killeen Ellison, Shoemaker, or Killeen High School. Students who participate in the middle school orchestra programs at Union Grove, Nolan Middle School, Liberty Hill and Eastern Hills must get approval from the school district to attend Harker Heights High School in order to play in the orchestra.

Opera San Antonio Announces 2021-22 Season Lineup

Following the performance on Oct. 7, Opera San Antonio will host its first-ever gala, “From Seville to San Antonio' in the Carlos Alvarez Theater. CineFestival Announces 42nd Annual Festival  with Support from the National Endowment for the Arts

San Antonio's original Latinx film festival returns this July 7th through 11th at the Historic Guadalupe Theater with a large Texas filmmaker presence. Featuring 80 films with 60% from the Lone Star State, CineFestival is the first of the Guadalupe Cultural Arts Center's programs to be held entirely in-person after the pandemic lockdowns. This year, the return of the festival is made possible with a $25,000 grant from the National Endowment for the Arts.
