Angels In America, Part One: Millennium Approaches at ELSEWHERE Theatre Company

ELSEWHERE Theatre Company, a new Pittsburgh based theatre company, has announced their next production in their inaugural season, Angels in America Part 1: Millennium Approaches by Tony Kushner.  In honor of pride month, tickets will be free of charge.

Tony Kushner's epic narrative, "Millennium Approaches," serves as the first installment in a grand series that weaves together the lives of various characters from New York and beyond. As they navigate the challenges posed by the AIDS crisis, the socio-political atmosphere of the 1980s, and the dawn of a new millennium, their intertwined stories unfold, painting a vivid picture of an era marked by struggle and transformation.

The cast includes Sam O'Neill as Prior, Hunter Ventura as Joe, Ben Nadler as Louis, Jamie Rafacz as Harper , Kathy Hawk as Hannah , Nick Mitchell  as Roy, Zachariah Washington as Belize, Amari Mae Shakir as The Angel, Matt Henderson as Player 1 and Jesse Chovanec as Player 2. The creative team includes Director and Scenic Designer Tucker Topel, Associate Director Michael Campayno, lighting design by Forrest Trimble and costume design by Jeremy Eiben.
