12 Peers Theatre Announces the Premiere of 2 One Act Plays: TALK ABOUT THE PASSION & SUSTENANCE

12 Peers Theater is very proud to announce a pair of Pittsburgh Premiere one act plays. Talk About The Passion, written by UK Playwright Graham Farrow, presents the perils of a society fascinated by serial killers and fame. sustenance, written by James Roday, Red Dog Squadron Co-Artistic Director, and Shawn Spencer on USA's Psych, is an East Coast Premiere also centered on serial killers, with a few zombies added for good measure. The two plays present two drastically different views of a morbidly fascinating and sometimes humorous topic.

Pittsburgh CLO Announces 2013 Summer Season Creative Team

Pittsburgh CLO has announced the creative team for the 2013 Summer Season at the Benedum Center. This group of Pittsburgh CLO veterans will bring the Benedum Center alive with Broadway's very best for the organization's 67th year. The season includes 42nd Street (May 31-June 9), Seven Brides for Seven Brothers (June 11-16), Kopit & Yeston's Phantom (June 21-30), Disney's The Little Mermaid (July 9-21) and the tour of Buddy - The Buddy Holly Story (July 24-August 4). This year, through special arrangement with The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, Pittsburgh CLO Season Ticket Buyers will enjoy priority seating to Disney's The Lion King (September 3-8).

Grammy winning folk icons the Indigo Girls will be performing at the Byham Theater on Sunday, March 3 at 8:00 p.m. with supporting act The Shadowboxers, a young 5-piece band originally from Atlanta. This will be the first time ever the group will have a full band tour and a chance for fans to hear their music performed in an all-new way. The preview party was held to raise awareness for the Ambassadors' 16th Annual Wine Tasting and Silent Auction, which will take place Friday, March 1, 2013, at the Duquesne Club, and will feature wines from Capital Wine & Spirits.

The Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival, a production of the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, has announced three new artist opportunities, in addition to the annual Juried Artist Market, Juried Visual Art Exhibition and Emerging Artist Scholarship Program. The 2013 Dollar Bank Three Rivers Arts Festival will take place Friday, June 7, through Sunday, June 16, 2013, in Point State Park, Gateway Center and the Cultural District.
