Beowulf Alley Theatre presents The Transylvanian Clockworks by Don Nigro, 10/22-11/7

Beowulf Alley Theatre, just off-Broadway at 11 South 6th Avenue, 85701, will present Don Nigro's investigation of the Dracula myth in a powerful, complex, darkly funny and utterly terrifying vampire play unlike any you have ever experienced, The Transylvanian Clockworks. Performances will be held for three weekends only, October 22-November 7, 2010, Thursday through Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday matinees at 2:30 p.m.

Beowulf Alley Theatre's Old Time Radio Theatre Company announces their November stories to be presented at the theatre, 11 South 6th Avenue (Downtown between Broadway and Congress) on November 2 and 16, 2010. Performances are at 7:00 p.m. Admission is $8 for ages 13 to adult and $5 for the first two children ages 6-12, cash at the door, first come-first serve seating. There are only three more performances of Stray Cat theatre company's 'reasons to be pretty' by Neil LaBute, directed by April Miller. The show will run at 8 p.m. on Thursday 10/7, Friday 10/8 and will close on Saturday 10/9.

4TROOPS are United States combat veterans. While overseas, music played a crucial and very personal role in their lives. They would sing at everything from large military events to more intimate settings, where they would jam in their bunk after a long day in the field and try to recall a slice of home. They also used their voices at somber occasions like memorial services, where they would sing to remember those that had been lost. 4TROOPS now come together for a singular purpose: to sing on behalf of all troops, to honor their sacrifices and to create awareness for their needs.

Ginger Rogers danced her way into our hearts in the arms of Fred Astaire, setting the gold standard for grace and elegance on the silver screen. In her surprising true-life story, we follow her from the vaudeville stage at the age of 15 through her ascension to Hollywood goddess. BACKWARDS IN HIGH HEELS tells the story of this legendary dancer, singer and actress through the music of some of the 20th century's greatest composers and with plenty of dance numbers worthy of the Hollywood icon. BACKWARDS IN HIGH HEELS plays in Tucson at the Temple of Music and Art from September 10 through October 2. It continues its run in Phoenix at the Herberger Theater Center from October 7 through October 24. The Tucson media sponsors for the 2010-2011 season are Tucson Lifestyle, KGUN9 and MIX-FM. Fountain Hills Community Theater is proud to present Carousel, the Rodgers and Hammerstein musical that reigned on Broadway from 1945 through 1947 and was voted 'the greatest musical of the twentieth century' by TIME magazine. Carousel, bursting with joy and exuberance, has become one of America's most beloved musical masterpieces and this FHCT production will move and delight audiences of all ages. The touching tale is set in a small Maine fishing village and focuses on Billy Bigelow, a rough and temperamental carnival barker and Julie Jordan, his mill worker bride. This moving, comic and ultimately redeeming musical follows the course of their romance - even beyond the bonds of life. The score of Carousel includes some of Broadway's most memorable melodies - 'If I Loved You,' 'June is Bustin' Out All Over,' 'When the Children are Asleep,' and the classic 'You'll Never Walk Alone.'
