The play set in the midlands of Ireland is a romantic comedy-drama involving two middle-aged farmers, Rosemary and Anthony, who live on adjoining farms. Rosemary has been romantically interested in Anthony all her life but he is unaware of her feelings.
A land feud, familial rivalries and their own fears inhibit the relationship. Unlikely as it seems that romance will happen, Rosemary's determination eventually brings happiness to these two souls.
