Rehearsals are underway in New York for the upcoming North American Tour of William Finn and James Lapine's Tony Award-winning musical Falsettos. Following rehearsals in New York, the company will head to the Walton Arts Center in Fayetteville, AR (February 8-9, 2019) prior to an official opening at the Golden Gate Theater in San Francisco, CA on Wednesday, March 20 (run dates: March 19-April 14, 2019). Hans Christian Andersen's legendary tale is reimagined into a playful animated special for today's children. The classic fable gets a colorful, music-filled makeover in the whimsical THE EMPEROR'S NEWEST CLOTHES, written and produced by Sheila Nevins, directed by Simon Wilches-Castro and featuring the voices of Emmy© winner Alan Alda, Emmy© winner Jeff Daniels, and Alison Pill. The special features original songs by Tony Award-winning composer William Finn ('Falsettos, 'The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee').

Barrington Stage Company (BSC), the award-winning theatre in the Berkshires under the leadership of Artistic Director Julianne Boyd, presents Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie. Based on the Academy Award-winning film by Michael Arndt. Chicago Theatre Workshop will be the first company in the US to present the show since its off-Broadway run at Second Stage Theater.
