On November 7, a section of 52nd Street between Broadway and 8th Avenue was renamed 'JERSEY BOYS WALK'. Original Four Seasons Frankie Valli and Bob Gaudio, along with members of the creative team including co-authors Marshall Brickman and Rick Elice, and the current cast participated in this momentous occasion.

JERSEY BOYS opened on Broadway to critical acclaim on November 6, 2005. The show is currently playing in New York; Las Vegas; London; Sydney, Australia; and in cities across the U.S. on a National Tour.

Marin Mazzie and real-life husband Jason Danieley joined Broadway's NEXT TO NORMAL at the Booth Theatre on July 19, 2010. Memphis star Montego Glover performed for the Obamas at The Ford's Theatre's annual gala on June 6th. Singing 'Colored Woman' Glover wowed the crowd. The show was telecast on July 2nd.

Memphis took away the 2010 Tony for Best Musical. The show also won honors for Best Book Of a Musical, and Best Original Score (Music and/or Lyrics) Written for the Theatre.

The cast of the hit Broadway musical MEMPHIS performed the number 'Someday' live on Thursday, May 27th, in the 9am (EST) hour on NBC's 'The Today Show.' The audience members attending the April 17th 2 PM performance of Memphis were given an extra special treat when Ramon Castro got on stage and proposed to his girlfriend Celeste Sanders. Castro quoted the show asking Sanders if she would be the woman to pick out his clothes for the rest of his life, a line used by Huey Calhoun.
