Christine Dwyer and Matt DeAngelis' love story has been a lifetime-in-the-making. Both hailing from Boston's North Shore, they started crossing paths professionally in NYC in 2010 and finally connected as friends in 2015.

This afternoon, the company of Waitress on Broadway gathered on the stage of Broadway’s Barrymore Theatre to commemorate a Mayoral Proclamation declaring Friday, September 17, “Nick Cordero Day” in New York City. 

After a year and a half without Broadway, Waitress fans will get a rare chance to revisit their favorite musical- they'll just have to travel across the street for it. A limited engagement begins performances at The Ethel Barrymore Theatre on September 2, where it will run through January 9, 2022.

The producers of the Broadway hit Waitress announced today that for the third year running they will be supporting the Susan G. Komen Greater NYC during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this October.  

She's queen of the beam, and now she's taking on Broadway! Olympic gold medalist Laurie Hernandez recently stopped by the Brooks Atkinson Theatre, where she was joined by company member Matt DeAngelis in a karaoke rendition of 'Bad Idea.' Watch Laurie belt it out below!

Broadway Sessions celebrated it's season finale recently. Nobody panic! Broadway Sessions will be back weekly beginning on September 7th. But of course we had to blow the roof of the joint 1 more time before parting. Just last night, The Public Theater celebrated its Annual Gala, HAIR TO HAMILTON, 50 Years of Revolutionary Musicals, at the Delacorte Theater. Directed by Daniel Sullivan, with musical direction by Rob Fisher and Nadia DiGiallonardo, the 90-minute concert featured songs from The Public's most beloved and groundbreaking musicals performed by some of the most celebrated voices in theater.
