Today we rewind to 2014, when Side Show was getting ready to return to Broadway at the St. James Theatre, where it played for 56 performances.

The sun is gonna shine today because its the birthday of the legendary actor and comedian Steve Martin! In honor of the occasion, we're looking back at his Tony-nominated musical Bright Star that he wrote the score for with Edie Brickell. Last weekend, a company of Broadway favorites gathered at Feinstein's/54 Below for '54 Sings One-Hit Wonders,' a concert celebrating those pop songs you can sing every lyric to but don't know anything else by that artist/group. Roald Dahl's Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, starring two-time Tony Award winner Christian Borle (Willy Wonka),  begins performances Tuesday, March 28, 2017 and officially opens Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Broadway's Lunt-Fontanne Theatre.
