The Roald Dahl Story Company has announced three exciting new theatre productions. The productions have been created and developed by the Roald Dahl Story Company's in-house theatre division.

The National Theatre has announced two new productions, Roald Dahl's The Witches, in a co-production with the Roald Dahl Story Company, and The Effect, in association with The Jamie Lloyd Company.

The trend for stage adaptations of already popular material shows no sign of relenting, as a musical version of everyone’s favourite autumn comfort watching comes to the West End. It transfers following a successful run at the Cheltenham Everyman last summer, and stars Haydn Gwynne and John Owen-Jones as judges Pam Lee and Phil Hollinghurst (although we know who they’re really supposed to be). Mark Goucher Productions has announced the full cast for The Great British Bake Off Musical for its transfer to London's West End, opening at the Noël Coward Theatre for a limited twelve-week run from 25 February to 13 May 2023.  

Fresh from the West End production of Moulin Rouge The Musical, West End leading lady and singing sensation Zoe Birkett will play Spirit Of The Ring alongside EastEnders’ Beppe Di Marco, Michael Greco as Abanazar. Joining them is CBeebies favourite Ben Cajee in the title role of Aladdin, returning favourites Tam Ryan as Wishee Washee and Ian Adams as Widow Twankey, Duane Gooden as the Genie, Ian Billings as the Notary and introducing Wolverhampton’s own Sofie Anné as Princess Jasmine.

All new production photos have been released for Moulin Rouge! in the West End. The musical opens on 20 January at the Piccadilly Theatre. The cast of Moulin Rouge! is led by Liisi LaFontaine and Jamie Bogyo in the roles of Satine and Christian.

Performances of Moulin Rouge! The Musical will resume this evening at the Piccadilly Theatre with a new official Opening Night set for Sunday 9 January 2022.

Moulin Rouge! The Musical will officially open at the Piccadilly Theatre on December 8. Liisi LaFontaine and Jamie Bogyo lead the production in the roles of Satine and Christian.

Moulin Rouge! The Musical has become the first show in the West End to require that their audiences wear face coverings throughout the show. Mask-wearing is asked of audiences in the West End, but it is not mandatory.
